Dhaka- -- Kathalbagan Green CC beat Gulshan Club by two wickets in the Acme Second Division Cricket League at the Mirpur Outer Stadium yesterday (Saturday).

Deciding to bat first, Gulshan Youth Club scored 173 runs for all in 43.2 overs with highest 50 runs coming from extras.

Number six batsman Shaon scored 26 runs off 71 balls with two fours while number nine Saiful added run-a-ball 25.

Sumon claimed three wickets conceding 40 runs while Rana took two for 21.

In reply, Kathalbagan Green Crescent Club reached the target of 174 runs losing eight wickets in 44.1 overs.

Opener Imrose made 32 runs off 63 balls with four boundaries while one down Niaz added 31 runs off 49 deliveries that featured five fours.

Captain Mithu was the other notable scorer making 26 off 54 balls with four boundaries.

Sujon captured three wickets for 18 runs while Shahnewaz also took three wickets conceding 27 runs.
